Shimano’s new Coltsniper BB range is a high-performance rod series direct from Shimano’s Japanese domestic market, specifically designed for shore lure casting. The range features 6 models in 9’, 9’6” and 10’ lengths that are built on strong and responsive blanks featuring Shimano’s Hi-Power X wrap technology. The rods are rated between PE 2 and PE 4 with varying max casting weights from 60g to 100g, making this rod ideal for spinning lures from Shimano Coltsniper range and it is also great for shore jigging applications to target fish that are holding deeper.
