The Rapala original floater is still the number one "go-to" lure for many anglers. Whether twitched on the top as a surface bait, or retrieved as a shallow runner, the floating original minnow is one to have. The balsa wood minnow can be fished from the top to near the bottom. It can be slow-rolled over the stones and boulders in a freshwater stream or river, while it is just as effective being worked over sand flats and weed beds.
