    Description

The Quantum Cabo is a fully sealed saltwater spinning reel built for anglers who put real pressure on their gear. Sealed to IPX8 standards through Quantum's Sealoq 8 system, the Cabo shuts water, salt and sand out of the gearbox and drag stack, so it keeps running smoothly through a hard season of beach, rock and blue-water fishing. A high-strength aluminium frame and sideplate hold the machined GearTeq gearing in alignment under load, while the CFX200 carbon fibre drag stack delivers a smooth, consistent drag curve and up to 20.4 kg of stopping power in the largest size.

Davo's stock the Cabo in five sizes from 3000 through to 8000. The 3000 and 4000 suit estuary, inshore and light beach work, the 5000 bridges into heavier inshore and light offshore duties, and the 6000 and 8000 handle serious casting, jigging and live baiting offshore. Species such as snapper, mulloway, tailor, salmon, kingfish, tuna and trevally are all well within the range, though the Cabo is certainly not limited to those - it is a general-purpose saltwater workhorse that will cover most styles of fishing you point it at.
