Fewer names are as iconic to Daiwa as TATULA, and with the new global range of TATULA XT rods there’s now more chance than ever for anglers to enjoy the benefits of Daiwa rod technology. A global collaboration project TATULA XT has been years in the making to produce a series of rods with a rich feature set at a price point which is market leading.
HVF graphite blanks are combined with a combination of X45 and BRAIDING-X technology to deliver crisp and powerful blanks which are sensitive and lightweight. Careful consideration has been taken to produce a series of actions catered to Australia, from short powerful baitcast rods for Barramundi through to ultralight actions suited to bream or trout.
Fuji’s O ring stainless steel guides outfit the rods with Daiwa designed reel seats providing a comfortable, confident grip in the hand. Split EVA grips are both stylish and comfortable and have been carefully considered to suit the usage of each particular model.
Adorned in TATULA’s unique and subtle styling, the TATULA XT is a classy looking rod which performs well above its price tag.
- BRAIDING X – Daiwa’s latest carbon technology, Braiding X is a low resin, high strength, reduced weight, high density, carbon weave that creates a blank that has maximum density, yet is super light, sensitive, and highly responsiveness.
- DAIWA REEL SEAT – One of the strengths of Daiwa rod design. Designing and producing exclusive reel seats allows Daiwa rods to be unique with functional benefits over the competition. More comfortable, better designs and unique looks is what Daiwa reel seat design is all about.
- HVF (High Volume Fibre) combines precise resin control with unidirectional graphite fibre to produce a blank with maximum graphite density, making it incredibly sensitive, light and responsive.
- X45 – Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.
