Description
The BG has been Daiwa's hard-working saltwater spin reel for years, and the 26 BG SW is the next generation of it. Built around Daiwa's Powerdrive Design philosophy, it pairs a rigid full aluminium body with an Oversized Power Digigear — larger in diameter and thicker in profile — to deliver serious winding power under load without giving up smoothness.
The Powerdrive Rotor uses a spherical shape that keeps rigidity high while holding inertia low, and the Crank Power Bail adds strength where big fish put pressure through the reel. ATD Tough drag runs a low-viscosity grease at rest that becomes more viscous the instant the drag starts moving, which cuts initial start-up inertia and lets the drag come on smoothly from the hook-up. An LC-ABS SW spool keeps line flowing cleanly on the cast, and enhanced waterproof sealing keeps salt out of the internals.
With sizes running from 5000 through to 20000, the range covers a lot of ground. It is well suited to, but not limited to, rock and beach casting, offshore jigging, popping and stickbaiting, and chasing hard-pulling pelagics such as tuna, kingfish, GTs and mackerel — start at the smaller sizes for general saltwater spin work and step up through the range as the fish and the terrain demand.

Most orders are sent via Australia Post. Some items are sent via Star Track Express, Couriers Please, Sendle or Aramex. We decide on who to send an order with during the processing stage.

We ship a large volume of rods daily and we are proud to say we have refined our shipping technique to ensure all rods are delivered in perfect condition.
Rod are fully insulated with high density bubble wrap. After this, rods are inserted into a purpose built and cut to size rod tube which is professionally capped at each end.
