Description
The BFS Trick Shad is Mike Bucca's Trick Shad shrunk down to a size that suits bait finesse gear. At 2.5 inches (63mm) and 3/16oz (5.3g) it is light enough to throw on BFS baitcast and light spin outfits, but it keeps the single-jointed body and soft tail that give the full-size Trick Shad its natural, side-to-side swimming action.
Wound slowly the jointed body rolls into a wide S-action, and because the bait is slow sinking you can count it down and work it at whatever depth the fish are holding, or let it hang and flutter on the pause. The body is moulded from durable ABS rather than resin, which stands up to repeated catches and also opens up colour finishes that are not possible in a resin bait. The tail is replaceable and a spare is included, so a chewed tail does not end the bait's life.
It is a natural pick any time fish are feeding on small baitfish and a full-size swimbait is too much. Well suited to, but not limited to, bass, Australian bass, saratoga, sooty grunter, jungle perch, bream and flathead, in dams, rivers and estuaries alike.

Most orders are sent via Australia Post. Some items are sent via Star Track Express, Couriers Please, Sendle or Aramex. We decide on who to send an order with during the processing stage.

We ship a large volume of rods daily and we are proud to say we have refined our shipping technique to ensure all rods are delivered in perfect condition.
Rod are fully insulated with high density bubble wrap. After this, rods are inserted into a purpose built and cut to size rod tube which is professionally capped at each end.
