Berkley GDTN Gulp Trout Nuggets Fishing Bait

These bad boys are like junk food for rainbow trout - and brown trout have a real liking for the gulp nuggets as well. Gulp is softer than original scent powerbait and doesn't cast as well so use it during lowlight periods and at night (precisely when browns are more active) when casting distance isn't as important. To catch more trout you need to regularly rebait as it dissolves - no point fishing with an empty hook! The brown in the picture was caught up at Lake Eucumbene on Chartreuse gulp nuggets on 4lb line with a size 1 running ball sinker, trace of about 80cn and size 8 fly hook. Very small, thin hooks are a must for the best powerbait presentation!
