30D Ultra-Sil® is a nylon made from high quality Cordura yarn. This type of material is stronger and more abrasion resistant than standard nylon fibres. We use two different types of fabric in our products: Sil/PU and Sil / Sil.

High strength 30D nylon with silicone impregnation on both sides of the fabric. The silicone impregnation works well with lightweight fabrics as it improves the abrasion resistance. Additionally, this type of fabric has a waterproof rating of 600mm. Sil/Sil fabric is used for products where low weight and durability are important.

A high strength 30D nylon with a silicon impregnation on the outside and a polyurethane (PU) coating on the inside. This type of material has a water resistance of 2000mm. The Sil/PU fabric is used in products that must maintain full waterproofness.
