The Penn Battalion Overhead Rod is a great, simple all-rounder that’ll help you pull in the big ones. The lightweight blank has fantastic sensitivity that’ll let you feel every bite. The contoured EVA grips feel completely comfortable in your hand throughout a long day of fishing. SLS3 construction makes a smaller, lighter rod while keeping incredible strength and power.

Great value quality rod

The rod looks like a cross between a baitcaster and a jigging rod. It is a very thin and lightweight rod with a lot of power. The action would best be described as a powerful medium action with the power building from the tip to the first guide of the rod. The fore grip however would be better if it was a bit longer and larger in diameter. Overall great value for money quality rod.
