    Dog Tooth Fluidcast X8 Braid is also impregnated with Teflon to minimise wear and friction - which means better casts - plus stops water soaking to keep the line at it's maximum performance level for longer.

    Smooth and thin braid used for backing talica 25 reels.

    I was able to get 800m of this thin good quality braid as well as 125m of 23kg mono as a top shot on my Talica 25 reels. The mono was the Siffix Advanced thin line. These light weight rod/reel setups can now be used on small black marlin as well as stripes and small blues. Its like fishing 15kg with the power of 23kg when its needed. I really enjoy having lighter rod and reel combo's with the 925m fighting capability at 23kg (65lb braid with 23kg mono). My Mate only has about 500m of standard IGFA line on his 50 wide reels and they are much heavier to fish. Yes, we can use his for comp and mine for the usual casual fishing.
