Known as the Mustad Slow Pitch J-Assist, this dual hook rig is designed for fitting to metal jigs for demersal fishing. There's no doubt the J-Assist will be spot on for jigging big snapper, as well as Nannygai, smaller Kings, Samson fish, Amberjack and all manner of Pelagic species up north. They may even work on stickbaits as an alternative to in-line single or treble hooks, and should also be considered for metal casting lures on salmon and tailor.
