The  Slammer IV spinning range from PENN elevates the ultimate workhorse reel to a new level for anglers who target the sportfish with the hardest fighting habits. Penn fishing tackle have redesigned the Dura-Drag system in the Slammer IV to not only be better sealed but also to offer a wider range of usable drag, all while being bearing supported for additional smoothness. The Slammer IV is built upon a proven platform of an IPX6 sealed body and spool from the previous ranges. 

Included in this pack is the Penn Allegiance Power Crank. Featuring powerful graphite composite construction and featuring K-guides and strong over-binding. Definitely not a rod for the faint hearted. This rod means business.

Finally complimented with the Berkley X9 Braided Line offering an extremely smooth and strong line designed for optimal strength and casting distance. Featuring a 9-carrier construction with a PE core, the Berkley X9 Braided Line is extremely round and smoothly flows through guides for increased casting distance. Its high strand construction also enhances wear resistance for fishing over rugged structure and provides higher knot strength.
