The Cressi Gara Modular Team Carbon Blade Fin MD Green Camo is constructed with ultra-performing carbon fiber that boasts immense strength and flexibility achieved through a high vacuum 100% industrial procedure. Other fins in the industry typically have 3,000 fibers per thread, while the Cressi carbon blade has an impressive 12,000 fibers per thread, resulting in four times the resistance, flexibility, and kick response. This is due to each thread being incredibly small, with a total density of 20,000 fibers per square millimeter. The design parameters for the S-shaped undulating deformation of the blade were inspired by the Impulse project, resulting in a significant accumulation of elastic potential energy that is released in the return kick for added thrust. The blade is made with high-modulus propylene (2500 Mpa) and utilizes the finest carbon fiber from Japan, manufactured by Mitsubishi and finished with an industrial co-moulding process at Cressi's factory in Genoa.
