The redesigned Backbone Elite rods of the new generation have been carefully crafted to cater to the needs of offshore anglers across the country, pursuing everything from light game fishing to the most demanding heavy game fishing applications.

In total, there are eight rod options available. These include a 10kg rod featuring fixed standard guides and a top, as well as three 15kg alternatives with various guide configurations: fixed guides, fixed guides with roller tips, or fully equipped roller guides. Similarly, these choices are offered in the 24kg category. Additionally, there's a formidable 37kg option with a roller tip for the most serious anglers.

All of these rods are constructed on a single-piece blank using Shimano's advanced TC4 material. The long EVA foregrip ensures a comfortable hold, even when your hands are wet. The guides, whether fixed or roller, are sourced from AFTCO. The durable Slick Butts simplify the process of removing a loaded-up rod from its holder, and the anodised aluminium reel seats and gimbals complete a highly capable package.
