Surprisingly a good reel
We brought this to use as a knock around reel in the boat. First few casts were all backlash so we checked the brake ring and there was way to much oil on it so we wiped it with a cotton but
After that the brakes worked properly and this reel can cast lures from 8 grams up easily and as far as way more expensive reels. For the price this reel is you can’t go wrong. Cranked a big deep diving crank bait and it was smooth and powerful. The spool spins very easily
Spool weight full of line is 30.5 grams with the bearing and I s a 34 mill diameter spool that is a must for distance casting. This is a very solid smooth reel worth more than the price it is
