With a push-to-test battery meter, the battery-extending power of Digital Maximiser (on select models) and unmatched corrosion protection, Riptide Transom means fish are out of places to hide.
Impervious to Saltwater’s Corrosive Effects. We build each Riptide with premium-grade marine alloys that are impervious to saltwater’s corrosive effects. Metals undergo a rigid multi-step cleaning process before being anodised or coated with a special zinc dichromate armour plating. All components are then finished with a durable 5-mil polyester powder coat paint. When it’s all done, you’re left with unequalled corrosion protection.
Riptide is armed with an array of features to fight galvanic corrosion, which occurs when two dissimilar metals come into electrical contact through saltwater. First, we use properly balanced materials that are close in electrical potential. Couple that with a composite shaft and patented sacrificial zinc anode and the result is a motor that is completely protected from the destructive forces of saltwater.

- Advanced Corrosion Protection: Premium grade alloys, including aluminum upper arms, are impervious to rust. Metals undergo a rigid multi-step cleaning process before being anodized or coated with a special zinc dichromate armor plating and e-coat epoxy.
- Fully Encapsulated Electronics: All control boards are fully encapsulated in marine-grade urethane to permanently seal the circuitry from external elements. The urethane forms an impregnable barrier against the destructive forces of saltwater.
- Corrosion-Resistant Components: All fasteners and mounting hardware feature 300 series Stainless Steel.
- 3X™ Steering: Select Riptide models feature our exclusive 3X™ Steering. Move the tilt Steering Control just 60 degrees to change the lower unit a full 180. Slight handle adjustments give you ultra-responsive control and ease of handling for sight fishing or when fighting hard-charging Fish.
- Tilt Steering Control: Telescoping handle extends to 21″ with 5 detent settings for maximum comfort and control. Tiller tilts 20 degrees for maximum versatility. Ideal for steering with your knees when the action heats up.
- Maximizer™: Get up to five times longer run time on a single charge. Controls draw of power at infinitely variable speeds to conserve battery power and extend run time (RT55 only – not available on RT40/50).

We offer a small fixed rate shipping fee for any order of $120 or less in Australia that does not contain bulky items. Some small products even qualify for $3 envelope shipping. We ship a large volume of rods daily and we are proud to say we have refined our shipping technique to ensure all rods are delivered in perfect condition.
Rod are fully insulated with high density bubble wrap. After this, rods are inserted into a purpose built and cut to size rod tube which is professionally capped at each end.
