For those who love offshore fishing, Daiwa introduces the 25 SALTIGA J, a new range of rods designed specifically for jigging and bottom fishing. This SALTIGA series has been completely reengineered from the ground up, boasting new technologies and a POWER HOLD reel seat. Fans of Daiwa's standalone jigging series have been eagerly awaiting this release. This series features Daiwa's implementation of SVF Nanoplus carbon for the first time, resulting in incredibly lightweight rods with enhanced recovery. Recovery is the critical factor in jigging rods, as it dictates the ability to impart the correct jigging action with minimal effort from the angler. One of the notable features of the SALTIGA J series is the POWER HOLD reel seat, which is featured on the five spinning models. Daiwa's POWER HOLD reel seat is a new and improved version of the commonly overlooked part of most heavy saltwater fishing rods. It offers enhanced comfort, reduced hand fatigue, and a secure grip on the chosen reel. The enlarged "hoods" completely cover the reel foot, eliminating any exposed threads or hoods that could come into contact with your hands and fingers. This not only improves comfort, but also reduces hand fatigue, especially when using high-impact fishing techniques such as high-speed mechanical jigging. To equip or remove your reel, simply slide down and turn the bottom hood of the POWER HOLD reel seat 90 degrees to make room for the reel foot.SALTIGA J series rods come equipped with FUJI Titanium framed SiC guides, which are lighter than stainless steel and increase the blank's recovery for improved lure action. FUJI GRC gimbal butt caps are included for use with preferred gimbal belts. The foregrip also features Daiwa's 'Complete Control' grip concept, with a small molded trigger that provides a secure hold for your index finger, even with tight drags, to prevent hand slippage down the rod.
