Both mask and snorkel are made in Italy with premium quality material for assure a long lasting use. The Marea is made in 100% silicone to assure comfort and perfect seal. It is a mask usable not only for snorkelling but also for scuba thanks to the small inner volume and to the soft nose pocket for compensate the air pressure. The Alpha Ultra Dry is a jewel of Cressi’s technology and design. It features a complete dry top to avoid entering of water. The mouthpiece has a little tank with a purge valve which allows instant clearing of water when needed. The flexible tube reduces the jaw fatigue and can be folded compactly for storing.
The Cressi Marea mask is made with tempered glass with a 100% silicone skirt that is soft and comfortable to wear for hours at any one time. The hard plastic frame is durable and holds the easy to adjust side straps allowing you to get a perfect fit each and every time. The clear silicone skirt opens up the peripheral vision to let more light in and allows you to see even more when snorkelling. The twin design tempered glass lens is a popular style and the mask fits majority of faces. The silicone strap is easily adjusted for the perfect fit each and every time and can have a mask tamer add on to it for extra comfort.
The Cressi Alpha Ultra Dry Snorkel is ultra dry which means that no water will enter the snorkel during use. There is a dry protection technology valve on top of the tube which prevent water from entering the snorkel. This works by the small valve closing when water hits it so ever after duck diving under the water, when you re surface, there will be no water in your snorkel. This feature is highly sort after as it can make your snorkelling of diving experience so much more enjoyable. The Cressi Alpha ultra dry snorkel is designed for diving so it has a corrugated section to give room for a regulator to be in your mouth, however it can also be used for snorkelling. There is a purge valve under the mouthpiece which is where the air comes out when you exhale. If you take the snorkel out of your mount, the put it back in and there is water in the tube, you can use one breathe to empty the water through the purge valve. A snorkel is an important part of diving and snorkelling so having a good quality one is extremely important.
