Penn Prevail II Surf Spin Rod

All the reviews are spot on about these surf rods so well balanced so strong and they cast a mile.

Davo’s always has great prices but when they have a sale it’s a ripper .

The rod came in a poly pipe with bubble wrap covering the rod , well done Davo’s much better than other companies.

My only grumble I had to email to see where my order was , maybe you might need a few more warehouse staff because your so popular.

Over all I’m very happy and will be using Davo’s Tackle again.

Great rod

I like it, we had five days catching Snapper from the beach and I was also able to catch King George whiting so the sensitivity is quite good. The snapper were 32-38 cm and whilst not serious snapper they do protest a bit and the rod had plenty of power and flex to cover every thing we caught. Salmon, snapper, whiting, Banjo sharks and casting was pretty impressive in my opinion.

This is my 2nd prevail spin rod. Bought it for my son as I already have one matched to an alvey spin reel. Awesome to cast and casting unreal distance from the beach.

Looks and feels great, really nice balance which pairs perfectly with my Penn Slammer III 6500.
